How I secure your website

HTTPS and encryption

I check the HTTPS configuration so that data between visitors and your website is transmitted in encrypted form.
Cloudflare and DDoS protection

I configure Cloudflare to suit your website. The service can filter malicious traffic and absorb DDoS attacks.
Protection rules against unwanted access

Depending on your needs, I set up firewall rules and access restrictions, for example for login areas or suspicious requests.
Security headers

I check and add suitable HTTP security headers. They help the browser reduce certain attack risks.

Good to know: Which measures are possible and sensible depends on your hosting and the services you use. Paid Cloudflare features and ongoing support are agreed separately.

DDoS protection

What does DDoS protection do for your website?

In a DDoS attack, a very large number of requests hit a website at the same time. This can make it slow or unreachable. Cloudflare can absorb a large part of this attack traffic before it reaches your server.

To make sure the protection is set up effectively, I also check the connection between Cloudflare and your server. DDoS protection does not replace regular updates or securing your website and its admin area.

Can you secure my existing website?

Yes, provided your hosting and the systems you use support the agreed measures. I check this in advance.

Do I need Cloudflare for this?

For the DDoS protection offered here, I use Cloudflare. Other measures such as HTTPS and security headers can also be implemented without Cloudflare, depending on your hosting.

Are there ongoing costs?

That depends on the services and features you need. We agree on paid plans and ongoing support in advance.

Is my website completely secure afterwards?

No. The measures reduce certain risks. Regular updates and securing your website, server and access remain necessary.

Do you look after security after the setup?

Ongoing support or later adjustments can be agreed separately. We record scope and costs in the quote.
